Abstract ZI hosted its first conference on 27-28 February in Johannesburg. The purpose of the conference was to debate and analyse the MDC’s economic recovery programme, RESTART and discuss the broader policy challenges facing Zimbabwe. The conference brought together politicians, diplomats, researchers and policy experts drawn from Zimbabwe, the region, the international community, business, labour and civil society.
