Abstract The Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition read with dismay the Communiqué issued by SADC on April 3, 2003, following the Third Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation: the SADC leaders continue to be misled by government propaganda which portrais the current situation as a the outcome of a struggle with colonial roots in which the land question plays a leading role.
