Abstract |
This report presented by the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition to the Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth on Thursday, 10 April deals with the current situation in Zimbabwe and the Commonwealth's role in addressing this crisis. It deals with the 2002 Presidential election, repressive legislation, state sponsored violence, electoral irregularities, attacks on judicial independence, land reform, food security, and economic obstacles. It further proposes a way forward in engaging the Zimbabwean crisis generally as well as returning the country to normalcy.
