Special edition of banned newspaper during meeting Commonwealth

During the Commonwealth meeting in Abuja (Nigeria) the banned Daily News from Zimbabwe has published a special edition. (with round-up of newsclippings of the actions against opponents of the Mugabe regime in the last three years)

Violence in Zimbabwe hits both white and black citizens

According to Zimbabwe Watch and NiZA the Dutch documentairy 'Blanke Angst' (White Fear; NCRV Dokwerk) about violence against white farmers in Zimbabwe underexposes the fate of the black Zimbabweans. (more in Dutch)

Partners NiZA arrested in demonstration

NiZA is shocked and furious, because of the violent arrest of more than 80 activists, mainly leaders of civil society. Among the arrested are partners of NiZA.

Solidarity among African leaders on EU-ACP meeting

All African leaders applauded, when the Zimbabwean representation referred to the problems in Zimbabwe as if they were caused by sanctions from the EU.
