Author Human Rights Watch

Published New York: HRW
Year 2005-12-01
Pages 62
Abstract This report documents the government’s denial of assistance and protection to people internally displaced as a result of Operation Murambatsvina ("Clear the Filth"), which began in May. The report also examines the role of international agencies, and in particular the United Nations country team, in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwean government has created a humanitarian crisis in which hundreds of thousands of people are now living without food, water or shelter.
