Zanzibar International Film Festival

Last July Zanzibar was dominated for two weeks by the annual Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF). Its objectives are to promote social and economic growth in the region through cultural productions. In addition, it wants to spotlight the Dhow culture. Has the festival so far succeeded in fostering her objectives?
