http://www.globalwitness.org/ Global Witness Global Witness is a British based NGO which focuses on the links between environmental and human rights abuses, especially the impacts of natural resource exploitation upon countries and their people. Using pioneering investigative techniques Global Witness compiles information and evidence to be used in lobbying and to raise awareness. Global Witness' information is used to brief governments, inter-governmental organisations, NGO's and the media.

http://www.intermonoxfam.org Intermon is a Spanish NGO, established in 1956. As a member of Oxfam International it works together with people in countries in the South to eradicate poverty and injustice.
Intermon is adding its efforts to those of the ten other member organisations of Oxfam International in order to achieve a greater effectiveness in its work. Intermon provides humanitarian assistance in disaster and conflicts situations, encourages solidarity and respect for human rights, denounces the causes of poverty and promotes Fair Trade.

Medico International
Medico International is a German based social medical human rights organisation. All activities of Medico are directed towards promoting and supporting initiatives which improve human health, under the motto "health is more than the mere absence of disease".
In the context of development oriented emergency aid, Medico supports its partners in building sustainable structures to enable a transition from external dependency to self-reliance. Medico essentially co-operates with local partners, in 15 countries in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, providing emergency aid for refugees, in situations of war and natural disasters, supporting projects that sustain autonomy and self-determination, rehabilitation of victims of war, human rights and public information.

NiZA, the Netherlands institute for Southern Africa, is an independent NGO, established in 1997, as a result of a merger between three former anti-apartheid and solidarity organisations.
NiZA disseminates information on Southern Africa and organises campaigns, debates and exchange programmes, thereby stimulating mutual contacts between Southern Africa and the Netherlands.
The institute maintains a network of contacts with local NGOs working in the field of human rights, democratisation, gender and reconstruction throughout Southern Africa. Through personnel assistance and financial support of small programmes in the region, NiZA contributes to the establishment of democratic and more equal societies in Southern Africa.

http://www.novib.nl Novib is an independent Netherlands based NGO working for sustainable development by supporting the efforts of poor people in developing countries and by championing their cause in the North. Novib has three related goals: structural poverty alleviation through co-operation with local partners in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, educating Dutch public opinion and standing up for the interests of the poor in policy-making.
