Abstract This report contains the results of the International Experts’ Meeting on Globalisation and (sub-Saharan) Africa, which was held between April the 15 and April the 17th 2004, in the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. The Meeting aimed at promoting more sustained international campaign work on African issues in Europe, in view of the deep crisis of poverty prevailing in Africa. Eleven eminent African experts on issues of globalisation presented their views during the various sessions of the Experts’ Meeting. The four Chapters of this report offer the reader the presentations made by all African speakers, along the structure of the Meeting itself. The presentations have been incorporated either in the form of a transcript of the speakers’ oral presentation, or in the form of a written statement. www.xminy.nl | www.tni.org | www.bothends.nl
